Welcome to the Decatur County Speedway Site. We got our first race in and had 145 karts show up, that is spectacular for a regular Saturday night race, we had some delays that caused us to have a late night but the racing was good and the 2nd race took care of the delays. I want to thank everyone who came out to race it is looking like karting may be coming back to Indiana. The Hoosier Dirt Karting Alliance is actually a reality now thanks to many people putting their heads together to develop some rules and work on a Series for the different tracks. The Schedules for Greensburg, North Vernon, Shelbyville, Lawrenceburg and Sabo all do not overlap at all. Lawrenceburg races Friday nights Sabo races Sundays and the rest of us Split up the Saturday nights. Union County will Race almost every Saturday night and the HDKA will have some races at most of these tracks this year. Greensburg hopes to be one of the best tracks in the Midwest this year and we will try our best to have a fair and competitive Event every night We hope you all liked Greensburg as much as we liked having you here in 2009. 2010 looks to be a promising year and we are already working on how things will be. Doug, Mike, and Crew We would like to thank the Decatur County Fair board for allowing us to race at their facility, if anyone wants to reserve the track or anything at the grounds then they can contact the fair board through the number in the phone book. The facility is awesome great spectator seating, concessions, nice lighting and lots of room in the pits.
